Phillip Clinard
Estimator

Phillip is responsible for the daily management of Strategic’s estimating department for DFW-based projects. He handles project intake, pre-construction review, and bid distribution and coordination with qualified subcontractors. Phillip also completes all itemized takeoffs of trade quantities and associated unit pricing, to ensure that each estimate is accurate per plans and specifications. Once a project is awarded, he coordinates with the project management team to “hand off” the project and review and coordinate scopes of work and costs for each subcontractor.

Phillip graduated from Angelo State University with a B.B.A. in Marketing in 2011. He has been involved in estimating and sales since graduation, and has estimated a large variety of commercial projects in all major market sectors. His strengths lie in proper up-front planning and scope definition to ensure a complete and competitive bid, within budget, and with the expected level of quality.
