Company HIstory
Our company has been in continuous operation since 2002, and is an established regional leader in our selected construction markets. Our operating entity Strategic Construction, Ltd. is a limited partnership registered and authorized to do business in the State of Texas. FCI Multi-Family Construction is a registered D/B/A. We have completed projects under both the Strategic and FCI Multi-Family brands, depending on the specific market serviced. Going forward, we are operating exclusively as Strategic Construction. One brand and one seamless, service-oriented team to keep pace with the increase of mixed-use development and diversity in the communities where we build. The company has enjoyed continued growth and success over the following timeline:
2002
FCI Multi-Family was formed as a multi-family subsidiary of an ENR Top 100 general contractor based in Texas, with Robert Partin heading up the company’s growth into the multi-family market from its operating office in Houston, Texas.
2006
Ownership of the company was transitioned away from its general contracting parent company as part of its succession planning and the sale of its portfolio of successful construction companies and related businesses.
2013
Robert Partin became the sole owner of the company. FCI Multi-Family was established at that time as a D/B/A of Strategic Construction, an entity wholly owned and controlled by Robert Partin.
2014
FCI Multi-Family opened its DFW office with key executives from an ENR Top 200 general contractor based in the DFW area to strengthen FCI Multi-Family’s presence in the North Texas market and expand its scope of services in the commercial market sector, operating under the name Strategic Construction.
2016
The company combined the Strategic and FCI Multi-Family operating divisions under one brand and began operating exclusively as Strategic Construction.
