MIKE SMITH
Chief Operating Officer

Mike leads all Strategic operations at an executive level. He is responsible for the oversight of Strategic’s project teams, processes and all phases of construction from preconstruction through warranty. He works closely with project teams to analyze, plan and manage each project to meet company and client expectations. He also is actively involved early in project development with clients to maintain consistency between preconstruction services and project delivery. 

Mike earned a B.S. in Construction Science from Northeast Louisiana University in 1995. Prior to joining Strategic, he co-managed a DFW regional office of a national general contractor and was in charge of the retail division for an ENR 200 general contractor. Mike’s greatest strength is multi-tasking including his ability to motivate and lead multiple project teams in all operating regions.
